Free T'ai Chi Practice

Every Saturday Morning

In McLean (Langley), Virginia.

All Levels

(including first timers, new beginners, etc.)

Are Welcome

Whether They Are Enrolled in Classes or Not.

(Currently, there are about 55 people
attending these early morning practices each Saturday.)

No need to call first: just show up and enjoy!

8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. 

(followed by breakfast at a nearby restaurant.)

(These practices meet every Saturday, including holidays,
i.e., they do not follow the twelve week cycle of the other classes.)

practice is held in

St. Luke Catholic Church School 
7005 Georgetown Pike (a.k.a. Rt. 193)

(two and one half blocks inside the Beltway, Exit 44 East)
)
Langley (McLean), Virginia.
 

Directions:

From the Beltway: take Exit 44 for Georgetown Pike East, a.k.a. Rt. 193 East, towards Langley, Virginia. Go two and one half blocks to the church and school on your right. The gym is the building directly beside the outside basketball court.

From D.C.: cross the Chain Bridge, take the first right onto Rt. 123 South; Go about two miles and turn right onto Georgetown Pike West, a.k.a. Rt. 193 West. Follow for about two miles to the church and school on your left. (Remember, it is St. Luke Catholic and not St. Luke's Orthodox which is also on Georgetown Pike.) The gym is the building directly beside the outside basketball court.

Or you might prefer to follow the G. W. Parkway. See below:

From the George Washington Parkway: Follow the Parkway up river all the way to the far western end of the Parkway and take the exit for Georgetown Pike East, a.k.a. Rt. 193 East. Go two and one half blocks inside the Beltway to the church and school on your right.The gym is the building directly beside the outside basketball court.

 These Saturday practices are done silently.

We will be concentrating on the first third (i.e., the beginner's set) 
of the Cheng Man-ch'ing form of Yang style T'ai Chi Ch'uan.

We will return to our outdoor practice location
in McLean Central Park on the first Saturday in April.
