Directions
From the Beltway, in the Tyson's
Corner area, take Rt. 123 North,
towards McLean. Follow Rt. 123 North for about
two miles until you cross Old Dominion Dr. and
then take the first left (west) onto Ingleside
Dr. Go one block, then turn left onto Oak
Ridge Ave. The Dolley Madison Library is
on the corner of Ingleside and Oak Ridge.
Practice area (an asphalt basketball court) is
behind the library, on the left, outdoors.
From the G. W. Parkway, take the McLean exit
onto Rt. 123 South, go about 3 miles to right
onto Ingleside Dr. (one block before
Old Dominion Dr). Take first left onto Oak
Ridge Ave. Go 1/2 block to basketball court on your
left.
From D.C., cross the Chain Bridge, immediately turn right onto Rt. 123 South, go about 3 miles
and turn right onto Ingleside Dr. (one block before
Old Dominion Dr.). Take the first left onto Oak
Ridge Ave. Go 1/2 block to basketball court on your
left.
From Montgomery County,
go south on the Capitol Beltway to the American
Legion Bridge. As you cross the bridge,
make sure to be in the far right hand lane. Take
Exit 44 to Georgetown Pike East
(aka Rt. 193 East) towards Langley. Cross over
the Beltway. Go one short block to the first
traffic light and turn right onto Ball's
Hill Rd. Go about one mile to the first
traffic light and turn left onto Old
Dominion Dr. Go about 1/2 mile to the
first traffic light and turn left onto Dolley
Madison Blvd. (a.k.a. Rt. 123 North.) Go one
short block and turn left onto Ingleside
Dr. Go one block and turn left onto
Oak Ridge Ave. Go 1/2 block and look for
the outdoor basketball court on your left.

These
Saturday practices are done silently
and feature continuous repetition of the
beginner's set.
We
will be concentrating on the first third (i.e.,
the beginner's set)
of the Cheng Man-ch'ing form of Yang style T'ai
Chi Ch'uan.
